In February 2020, Australian Olympic hopeful Kai Sakakibara sustained a traumatic brain injury after a crash at a BMX World Cup event in Bathurst, Australia. In support of his recovery and rehabilitation, a charity event; ‘Ride for #KaiFight77’ will be held in a unique way via the online virtual cycling program- Zwift.
All Zwift users are invited to participate. We’re hoping bike and sport enthusiasts from around the globe will join together in this event. Kai’s sister Saya will be live streaming on her Instagram page, to allow non-Zwift users to show support as well.
